Local community organization leaders came together in the Center to discuss their gender-specific education, creative, and enrichment projects. The panel, featuring representatives from the Gainesville Girls Rock Camp, PACE Center for Girls– Alachua, and Girls Place, Inc. was moderated by Dr. Jillian Hernandez.
Over 50 people, including students, faculty, and community members attended. The event was sponsored by the Center and Dr. Trysh Travis, Waldo W. Neikirk Term Professor.
